Elite K-9 Dog Hotel
We gladly inform you that the Golf Mar Hotel launched a partnership with the Elite K-9 Dog Hotel, a Dog Boarding kennel in Vimeiro, so our guests can bring their furry friends on vacation. Services available:
Boarding The Elite K-9 facility consists of private inside kennels for dog's own personal space to rest and relax between activities. There are attached outdoor private kennels allowing your dog to enjoy the country surroundings. Your dog will be let out of the kennel to a grass area to ensure a healthy, active lifestyle during their stay.
Transfer Available two times a day so that can you can spend the day with your furry friend.

Interpretation Centre of the Vimeiro Battle
Strategically positioned on the hill where the decisive battle that ended the first French invasion of Portugal was fought, the Interpretation Centre of the Battle of Vimeiro (CIBV) is the ideal place for a family visit.
As the guardian of the memory of the battle fought in Vimeiro on August 21st 1808, the CIBV makes a difference: because of its position beeing strategically built on the battlefield, also for its collection consisting of armaments, uniforms, period documentation and unique archaeological pieces that deserve the attention of visitors.
